yaru and minjia just came over to do chinese pt. YARU'S AFRAID OF MY CAT. HAHA. she seems really paranoid. after we finished our pt and minjia went off, she was literally TAGGING ME. eh i wonder what would happen if i go to the toilet. maybe next week i should go to the toilet when we're the only 2 at home xD

went out with sijia to watch umizaru 2 on friday. its a super cool movie! second best jap blockbuster in history, right after bayside shake. the guy is so suave! hideaki ito! and the girl ai kato is super kawaii.

then last night i went with my family to watch sophie's scholl. its a really nice movie. inspirational. her faith in the Lord was really amazing. UNFORTUNATELY, THE ENDING WAS SO DEPRESSING. when she got executed. that scene keeps on replaying in my mind and i felt really disturbed last night. plus this show isnt really well known amongst youngsters. i think i was the youngest in the theatre la! and they should make it m18 la. the execution was really so depressing and disturbing. she got beheaded. ohwells. save for the ending, its a really nice show. if u ever watch it, just walk out before the execution =P

anyways. audrey and i have been indulging in very self-amusing activities for the past 2 nights.

on the first night: i spent quite abit of time surfing the web about kpop and a few korean stars. then i read this webpage about korean culture, and i realised how clean korean dramas are. or to be more specific, how they really embody the value of respect: in august 2005, KBS got punished by KBC for airing a scene in a certain drama depicting a daughter-in-law slapping her mother-in-law. HOHO. when i read it i was like o_O woah. amusing/impressive.

then i was surfing on songhaegyo and came across this really amusing/qian bian/cheat-my-feelings fact: it is rather widely known that shg was born on feb 26 1982, making her 24 years old. but apparently her actual birthdate is 22 nov 1981. but when she was born, she was so critically ill that the doctors and her mom felt that she wouldnt survive. so her mom waited till her condition stabilised before registering her birth, aka feb 26 1982. which makes her 25 yrs old in actual fact. ohmyword! got such thing meh! cheat my feelings la! i thought she was 24 all along. oh yes and one more VERY qianbian fact abt shg: her favourite actor is PARK SHIN YANG. OH MAN! HOW CAN! HE'S SO OLD AND....UGH.

okay thats for the first night. the second night: was searching for snippets of love @ 0 degrees on youtube. then i watched rui en's chinese version of last yr's ndp mv. and uh, i don't know if its symbolic of singapore's vibrancy and calibre or they just have a shortage of video footage. but i realised they used back a few of last yr's ndp video scenes for this yr's video. its the same old colourful kite flying across the CBD and then across changi airport. i have this vibe that they used back the same scenes for the second reason. HAHA.

oh yea! then audrey showed me this youtube video of a first runner-up of a karaoke competition singing jay chou's qing tian. she told me to anticipate horrible singing. but the moment i played the video for the first 3 seconds, EVERYTHING ABOUT HIS GUITAR WAS WRONG. firstly his intro plucking was totally out of order and wrong. and one of his strings were out of tune! hahaha! ohboy even before he could sing his guitar alrdy went wrong. and yea his singing kind of reached a NEW DIMENSION =) ohoh and then at the end of the song he suddenly switched to long juan feng's ending! hahaha super funny la! he got all his jay chou songs mixed up man =S

hokay enough of laughing at people singing/re-used video footages xD. we are sadistic.

oh yea happy belated birthday sarah! hahaha today we sang her a bday song at the coffeeshop! MALU! =D even the drinks uncle came over to sing la! AHHA! then sheryl was like UNCLE! GOT PRESENT NOT! MILO ON THE HOUSE MAN! hahah wasted we should've made sarah stand up on the chair! more malu! xD oh then jon goh and burton got her nydc's chocolate cheesecake. woooaah. sarah was admiring mel chen's present. haha then i told her about tess's friend returning her the birthday wrapper and it pissed tess off. then sarah was like EH OKAY I GO AND RETURN MEL THE WRAPPER. HAHA! so mean! anyways now that you're 16, uh you can watch nc16s! =D (i always say that =/) okay la i shall add in a bit of variation. STUDY HARD FOR O LEVELS! KAKAKA!

raaaah tmr's back to school. sheesh. shall go work on my english speech. ta.
